Stop Labour cutting your bus service

Bus services across North Cardiff are under threat this month. The Labour Council and Labour Welsh Government have cut funding to local bus routes across the city. They are now in danger of being reduced, changed, or even cut entirely.

The local 21/23 service which travels through Rhiwbina & Birchgrove will be changed from once every 20 minutes to once an hour!

Speaking about the reduction in services; Prospective Conservative MP, Craig Williams, said: “We all recognise that finance within the public sector is tight and governments and councils have to prioritise services. However, I think Labour have got it terribly wrong.

“Our bus services should be a key priority. Bus companies are not operating on large profits; in fact Cardiff residents own Cardiff Bus and they deserve a service they can rely on. Labour’s cuts will be passed directly onto passengers through increased fares, service reductions and closures. I hope residents realise who is really behind the driving seat of these terrible service changes.”
